Modified on Thu, 22 May at 8:48 AM

Using the More Options Menu

  1. Click on the More Options icon located on the far right of the case you want to share.
  2. Select Sharing Options.
3. A sharing options drawer will appear on the right.
  4. You will see a list of users who already have access to the case and their assigned permission roles.
  5. Enter the email address of the user you want to share the case with.
  6. Select a permission role for the user:
    • Owner – Full control over the case.
    • Contributor – Can edit and collaborate on the case.
    • Reader – Can only view the case.
  7. Click the Add icon.
  8. The shared case will now appear in the selected user's case list together with all the graphs inside the case.

Note: Collaborators can edit graphs within a case unless the graph is currently open in another user's Maltego Graph (Browser). In that case, editing is locked for others. They can still view the graph using Graph (Browser) or Graph (Desktop), other wait for the owner to unlock it for editing.

Sharing from the Case Details Page

  1. Click on the case to open its content details page.
  2. Click the Share button in the top-right corner.
  3. Follow steps 3–8 from Using the More Options Menu to complete the sharing process.

Note: Sharing encrypted cases requires the target user to set up their end-to-end (E2E) encryption settings, including a master password. Encrypted cases can only be shared with users who have configured E2E encryption on their end.
