Does Hunchly work on ARM architecture?

Modified on Tue, 7 Oct at 8:29 AM

Yes, absolutely!

More info:

Starting with version 11, macOS includes a compatibility layer called "Rosetta 2" that allows applications that are built for Intel and AMD x64 processors (like Hunchly) to work with M1 ARM-based processors.

Rosetta 2 is very fast - when we tested Hunchly with the 2020 M1 Mac mini, it ran circles around one of our team members' 2017 i7 MacBook Pro.

Limitations

Hunchly will not work in Windows or Linux VMs hosted on an M1 Mac

Because Hunchly does not run natively on ARM processors like the M1, Hunchly can only be run on macOS through Rosetta 2 on M1 Macs.
