Below are the server requirements for the host server that is used to run the iTDS.
Hardware Requirements
The iTDS' hardware requirements are as follows:
- 25 GB disk space
- 4 GB RAM
- 2 vCPU
Networking Requirements
Incoming
- Port 8000: Since version 4.2.0 (1 August 2022) the default port for the iTDS Admin UI is on 8000. The reason we have moved the Admin UI to a separate port is so that it can be placed behind a firewall, independently from the Transform Runner.
- Port 443: The Transform Runner runs on port 443 and is used for incoming connections from Maltego Clients on your network.
- Port 22 (optional): Incoming connection using SSH to manage the operating system.
Outgoing
The iTDS will need access to any Transform server that will execute the Transform code. Please ensure that the iTDS can make outbound connections to any Transform servers used by the iTDS.
