How do I pause, resume, or delete a case?

Modified on Wed, 16 Oct, 2024 at 4:26 AM

After an event or incident is over, it is possible to pause the case while storing the previously collected data.

Retrieved messages of paused cases are stored for up to 13 months from the date of collection. This period is 18 months for messages marked as important or have a note attached.

Existing cases can be paused from the case overview by clicking the ‘More’ ellipsis of a case tile and selecting ‘Pause’.

The 'Pause' implies that the case will stop collecting messages. When a case is paused, associated alerts are also deleted.

It is possible to revisit the data in a paused case, resume data collection, or delete the case entirely. To do so, switch to the “List view”.

Resuming a case is done via the “More” button of a case. Under that, you can find the option to completely delete a case.
