My Maltego application won't start after a fresh installation, why?

If you have just installed the Maltego Desktop Client, and are experiencing problems opening or running the application, please make sure you have installed and configured Java correctly.


  1. Make sure you have a supported version of Java installed.
  2. Make sure your Java installation is updated.
  3. Confirm that Maltego is configured to work with the correct Java version.

 

If you are still experiencing problems starting Maltego, please submit a ticket through Maltego Support Portal.
